Angmering Neighbourhood Plan
Angmering Parish Council (APC) has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Angmering. Further details of the NDP preparation are available on the Angmering Parish Council website.
The following stages and documents have been completed.

| Plan “Made” (Adoption) | The Angmering NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result of the SDNPA resolution on 12 March 2015, has been made.
The made Angmering NDP is a part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated by the SDNPA on 14 March 2013. The made Angmering NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Angmering NDP on 22 January 2015. Further information on the referendum is available on the Arun District Council website. There was a 31.3% turnout, with the following results:

| Decision Statement | In December 2016, Arun District Council (ADC) published the Decision Statement for the Angmering NDP. This sets out the changes that were made to the plan in response to the Examiner’s modifications.
The Angmering NDP was modified accordingly and proceeded to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | Arun District Council (ADC) appointed Mr Nigel McGurk as the Independent Examiner of the Angmering NDP. The Examiner published their final report in November 2014. |
| Regulation 16 – Submission consultation | Arun District Council (ADC) published the submitted Angmering Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 10 September and 22 October 2014. Further information, including the accompanying documents, can be found on the Arun District Council website. |
| Regulation 14 – Pre-submission consultation | Angmering Parish Council (APC) carried out a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Angmering Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 30 April and 11 June 2014. |
| Designated Neighbourhood Area | Following an application from Angmering Parish Council (APC), the Angmering Neighbourhood Area was designated by Arun District Council on 10 December 2012, and by the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) on 14 March 2013. |
| Proposed Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate the Angmering Neighbourhood Area was held from 30 August to 18 October 2012. |
