Local Plan Examination
The South Downs Local Plan was submitted to the Secretary of State on 27 April 2018.
Inspector Brian Sims BSc CEng MICE MRTPI has been appointed to conduct the examination to determine whether the South Downs Local Plan is sound.
The Inspector will be supported by a Programme Officer who is appointed by, but acts independently of, the Authority. Mr Chris Banks of Banks Solutions has been appointed as the Programme Officer for the South Downs Local Plan. His contact details are:

Hearing Sessions and Statements
A series of public hearings conducted by the Inspector will take place during the examination of the Local Plan. These will take place at the South Downs Centre, Midhurst. The initial timetable for the hearing sessions will be provided by the programme officer in due course.
