This page contains information about the examination of the South Downs National Park Community Infrastructure Levy Draft Charging Schedule. The CIL Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP) outlines what infrastructure is needed to support the development set out in the local plan. It can also help identify what kind of infrastructure the CIL can be spent on.
All other documents relating to the CIL Examination can be viewed in the Examination Library.
The examiner concluded in his report dated 29 June 2016 that the South Downs National Park Authority’s Charging schedule provides an appropriate basis for the collection of the levy in the National Park, that we have sufficient evidence to support the schedule and can show that the levy is set at levels that will not put the overall development of the area at risk.
The examiner recommended that the schedule should be approved
