Using Learning Outside the Classroom to deliver specific curriculum topics.
Using the science of Biomimicry we will look at the patterns found in Nature through the wildlife encountered in the South Downs National Park. We will learn about systems, processes and functions that nature has developed over 3.6 billion years. The greatest Research and Development ever. We can see how Biomimicry could help with the advancement of materials, technology, communication, transport, architecture and so much more.

This event is FREE thanks to funding from the South Downs National Park Authority COVID-19 Recovery Fund. The South Downs National Park Education Network have used the funding to develop a series of online teacher training sessions to support schools to deliver more Learning Outside the Classroom during the COVID-19 Pandemic.
