Ranger services are a key part of National Park Services in the UK and worldwide.
Our Rangers provide technical advice and support bespoke to your local area through our three Area teams based across the National Park.
The teams are there to enable and facilitate National Park purposes, and add value to the work of land managers, community groups and others in delivering National Park objectives.
The Rangers are a key component of the South Downs National Park Authority’s work providing a local contact, knowledge and a core service of mediating between the landscape and people.
You can contact your local Area Team on the details below and our Ranger Map shows the three Areas along with each local ranger patch.
