Woodmancote Neighbourhood Plan
Woodmancote Parish Council are preparing a Neighbourhood Development Plan for Woodmancote . Further details of the neighbourhood plan preparation are available at the Woodmancote Parish Council website.

| Plan ‘made’ (adopted) | The Woodmancote NDP (Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications and all modifications as per the Horsham DC & SDNPA Decision Statement) complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and as a result of the Horsham DC resolution on the 21 June 2017 and the SDNPA resolution on 15 June 2017has been made.
The Woodmancote NDP is a part of the Development Plan of the SDNPA Local Planning Authority area as defined by the Neighbourhood Area Designation by the SDNPA on 17 February 2014. The made Woodmancote NDP can be viewed at the following locations:

| Referendum |
A referendum was held on the Woodmancote NDP on 4 May 2017. For further information on the referendum please click here There was a 46% turn out, with the following results:

| Decision on the Plan Proposal | On the 6 March 2017 Horsham District Council agreed the Decision Statement for the Woodmancote NDP. This sets out the modifications that will be made to the plan in response to the Examiner’s modifications.
The Woodmancote NDP has been modified accordingly and will proceed to referendum. |
| Independent Examination | Horsham District Council appointed John Slater as independent examiner of the Woodmancote NDP. The Examiner assessed whether the Woodmancote NDP meets certain legal requirements, known as the ‘basic conditions’ and considered representations made on the Woodmancote NDP.The Examiner has now issued their final report, which Horsham District Council will now consider and will issue a ‘Decision Statement’ in due course setting out the actions to be taken in response to the recommendations of the Examiner. |
| Publicising a Plan Proposal | Horsham District Council have published the submitted Woodmancote NDP for consultation from 9 September to 21 October 2016. The following documents have been submitted for consultation:

| Designated Neighbourhood Area | The SDNPA designated the area of Woodmancote Neighbourhood Area within the South Downs National Park on 17 February 2014 following an application from Woodmancote Parish Council |
| Consultation on the proposed Neighbourhood Area | A consultation on an application to designate Woodmancote Neighbourhood Area was held from 14 November to 26 December 2013 |
