The West Saltdean Neighbourhood Forum applied for designation of the Neighbourhood Forum to the SDNPA and BHCC on 28 March 2022. The application included the following documents:
There followed a six week consultation from 10 May – 21 June 2022 with 18 representations received. Both BHCC and the SDNPA are satisfied the West Saltdean Neighbourhood Forum meets the express purpose of promoting and improving the social, economic and environmental well-being of the area and is satisfied its membership is open to individuals who live, work and include an elected Member in the area. The application was approved by the SDNPA on the 30 August 2022 |
| Neighbourhood Area designated |
Following a request from the West Saltdean Neighbourhood Forum group, the SDNPA designated the Coldean Neighbourhood Area on 30 August 2022. Brighton and Hove City Council designated the Neighbourhood Area on 23 August 2022. |
