Some people find the idea of a website storing information on their computer or mobile device a bit intrusive, particularly when this information is stored and used by a third party without them knowing. Although this is generally quite harmless you may not, for example, want to see advertising that has been targeted to your interests. If you prefer, it is possible to block some or all cookies, or even to delete cookies that have already been set; but you need to be aware that you might lose some functions of that website.

Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan

The Hampshire Authorities (Hampshire County Council and its partner authorities, including the South Downs National Park Authority) adopted the Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan (HMWP) on 15th October 2013. The HMWP contains minerals and waste planning policy for the part of the South Downs National Park that falls within Hampshire.

The adopted Hampshire Minerals and Waste Plan (2013) and the accompanying Policies Map can be downloaded free of charge online. If you wish to purchase a hard copy of the Plan, please contact Hampshire County Council (Email: and they will supply you one in the post on clearance of payment. The cost for a hard copy of the HMWP is £36 (including VAT, packing and postage). Payment should be made to Hampshire County Council either by cheque or by bank transfer (details available on request).
