Some people find the idea of a website storing information on their computer or mobile device a bit intrusive, particularly when this information is stored and used by a third party without them knowing. Although this is generally quite harmless you may not, for example, want to see advertising that has been targeted to your interests. If you prefer, it is possible to block some or all cookies, or even to delete cookies that have already been set; but you need to be aware that you might lose some functions of that website.

East Sussex, South Downs and Brighton and Hove Waste and Minerals Plan

On 19 February 2013 the East Sussex, South Downs, and Brighton & Hove Waste and Minerals Plan (2013) was formally adopted. This plan contains minerals and waste policy for the part of the South Downs National Park that falls within East Sussex and Brighton & Hove. This plan replaces the majority of the policies that were contained in the Waste Local Plan (2006) and Minerals Local Plan (1999).

(N.B. Some policies in the Waste Local Plan and Minerals Local Plan that relate to site allocations were saved, and these will be reviewed in the forthcoming Waste and Minerals Sites Plan. Further information on the Waste and Minerals Plan (2013) is available from the East Sussex Webpage .
