National Park Duty Planning Officer Service

National Park Duty Planning Officer Service

We offer general planning advice over the phone or in person via our free to use duty planning officer service.

This service only relates to the areas of the following districts which are within the National Park:

  • Adur and Worthing
  • Arun
  • Brighton and Hove
  • Mid-Sussex
  • Wealden

To check if you are within one of these areas please see a map of the National Park.

Should your enquiry relate to the East Hampshire, Chichester, Horsham, Lewes and Eastbourne, and Winchester areas within the National Park please contact the relevant authority.

At this present time we are operating a temporarily reduced Duty Planner Service of Mondays and Wednesdays only, between the hours of 10am and 12pm, due to staffing resources.

We are responding to all enquiries received as soon as possible, however, this may take longer than we ordinarily would like in offering this service.  We are aiming to re-introduce our full service again when further resources are in place.

Please call our reception on 01730 814810 to speak with the duty planning officer during these times.
