Learning Providers

Learning Providers

We are extremely proud in the South Downs National Park to benefit from having lots of high quality learning opportunities which link to our landscapes, heritage, habitats and wildlife.

Learning providers in the National Park

The South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) has created a Directory of South Downs Learning Network – sites and providers to help schools connect with learning opportunities in and around the South Downs National Park.

Please note: The SDNPA bears no responsibility for the services provided by the organisations listed in the directory and schools are responsible for checking appropriate safety standards and liability insurance when using an outside organisation and should follow the guidance when planning any educational visits.

Supporting learning providers

We facilitate the South Downs Learning Network, which consists of over 100 sites and providers who deliver a range of learning outside the classroom experience, relevant to the South Downs National Park and its special qualities.

The purpose of the network is to:

  • Share ideas and best practice
  • Provide advice and guidance
  • Connect people to build strong partnerships and create bespoke learning packages
  • Support personal development
  • Connect education centres and providers with schools

Keep in contact

Subscribe to our Learning Providers’ newsletter for regular updates on network projects, training and meetings.
