The John Muir Award

The John Muir Award is an environmental award scheme which encourages everyone to connect with, enjoy and care for wild places. Designed for groups, families and individuals, it is non-competitive, inclusive and accessible with a focus on fun, adventure and exploration.

At present the John Muir award is undergoing a redesign process. More information, including key documents, case studies and how to get involved can we be found on the John Muir website.

Here at the South Downs National Park, we can offer free:

• Training for those running the award
• Sessions for participants
• Ideas that link to the South Downs National Park
