East Meon Neighbourhood Plan

East Meon Parish Council are preparing a Neighbourhood Development Plan for East Meon. Details of the neighbourhood plan preparation are available at the East Meon Parish Council website

Independent Examination The SDNPA appointed John Slater MRTPI as independent examiner of the East Meon NDP.  The Examiner will assess whether the East Meon NDP meets certain legal requirements, known as ‘basic conditions’ and will consider the representations made on the East Meon NDP.

Publicising the Plan Proposal The SDNPA published the submitted East Meon Neighbourhood Development Plan (EMNDP) for consultation in accordance with Part 5 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 from 27 January 2017 to the 10 March 2017. Representations made on the EMNDP will be considered by an independent examiner . This guidance note provides further information on the basic conditions and next steps for the EMNDP.The following documents were submitted for consultation.

Pre-submission consultation on the plan East Meon Parish Council carried out their Pre Submission consultation from 14 May to 25 June 2016.

Designated Neighbourhood Area The SDNPA designated the East Meon Neighbourhood Area on 14 August 2014 following an application from East Meon Parish Council

Consultation on the proposed Neighbourhood Area A consultation on an application to designate East Meon Neighbourhood Area was held from 16 June to 28 July 2014.
