East Meon Parish Council are preparing a Neighbourhood Development Plan for East Meon. Details of the neighbourhood plan preparation are available at the East Meon Parish Council website

|Publicising the Plan Proposal||The SDNPA is now publishing the submitted East Meon Neighbourhood Development Plan (EMNDP) for consultation in accordance with Part 5 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.
The consultation starts on 27 January 2017 and ends on 10 March 2017. Representations made on the EMNDP will be considered by an independent examiner who will assess whether the EMNDP meets certain legal requirements, known as the ‘basic conditions’. This guidance note provides further information on the basic conditions and next steps for the EMNDP.The following documents have been submitted for consultation.

Any representations may include a request to be notified regarding the SDNPA’s decision under Regulation 19 to make the submitted neighbourhood development plan for East Meon.
|Submission of Plan Proposals||East Meon Parish Council submitted the East Meon NDP and accompanying documents to the SDNPA on 18 January 2017. The following submission checklist has been completed by the SDNPA|
|Pre-submission consultation on the plan||East Meon Parish Council carried out their Pre Submission consultation from 14 May to 25 June 2016.|
|Designated Neighbourhood Area||The SDNPA designated the East Meon Neighbourhood Area on 14 August 2014 following an application from East Meon Parish Council|
|Consultation on the proposed Neighbourhood Area||A consultation on an application to designate East Meon Neighbourhood Area was held from 16 June to 28 July 2014.|
