Before your visit

Use our Discovery Map or Learning Provider Directory to decide if any of the education providers in the South Downs National Park meet your pupil’s learning objectives and needs
Take a look at the National Park UK website for further guidance.
Ensure you meet the health and safety requirements
Encourage your staff and students to think creatively about how your group will reduce your impact on the environment during your visit.
Consider whether you need to seek permission to access the land.

We also offer an Outdoor Learning Grant to Schools and Colleges visiting the South Downs National Park. This can help with the costs of a trip by contributing towards the transport and learning providers fees.
