Follow our children’s trail around our ancient buildings, and learn more about ancient Rome. Get in the spooky spirit with creepy Roman facts — did you know they used sacrifices to tell the future? Join us for hands-on crafts, and make your own Roman ‘bulla’ charm to keep you safe. Plus you can learn more about the Roman gods, from the creepy to the cruel, with our clay figurine crafting! Explore our Roman villa, new Roman garden, and other ancient buildings as we celebrate 20 years since our villa was built! There will also be other crafts and demonstrations to explore as you travel through 10,000 years of human history. Visit on selected days for extra activities — hear spooky storytelling round the fire (Tues & Thurs), discover ancient instruments and the creepy cry of the Celtic carnyx (21st & 22nd), or meet the Romans (28th & 29th) and see if you have what it takes to become a Roman legionary!
