Climate Tours at Seven Sisters
30 May 2023
13.00 to 15.00
The climate is changing – so must we. Protected landscapes like the Seven Sisters and Cuckmere River catchment represent regionally and nationally significant sites for wildlife, cultural heritage, and climate action. The value of this beautiful landscape cannot be underestimated – with so much potential to inspire and encourage the protection of the natural world, as well as the practical reality of conservation at a landscape scale, we really can create positive waves of action. This is an invitation to join a guided tour of the Seven Sisters Country Park to discover what action is taking place here – and across the South Downs National Park – to work against climate change and mitigate the impacts we are already facing. We invite people of all backgrounds to join this event – you don’t need to know anything about the climate or wildlife to join – this is a free opportunity to learn. The walk will be approximately 2hrs in length starting at 13:00 from the Visitor Centre. Sign-up through Eventbrite to let us know if you’re coming.
