Join us this May half term for an action-packed week filled with ancient activities. A great day out that’s fun for all the family — even the dog! There’s heaps to see and do every day — follow our free children’s trail to follow the sun around the farm and discover midsummer celebrations, get stuck in with hands-on ancient skills activities, explore our ancient buildings, and more!
We’ll also be taking part in Chichester Roman Week, with Roman reenactments and activities on Sunday 26th & Monday 27th. Join us to meet members of the Butser IX Legion and see if you have what it takes to join the Roman army! More info here →
An incredible family day out, all activities are completely free with your admission. Normal entrance prices apply. HALF TERM ACTIVITIES Follow a free trail around the farm to discover ancient celebrations of sun & summer! Get hands-on to create your own pottery feasting cup and sun disc pendant Meet the Romans or try a Roman craft activity on selected days!
