Join heathland Ranger, Dan for a birding walk around Broxhead Common near Bordon to discover some of our special heathland bird species.

Broxhead Common sits on the boundary of the South Downs National Park and is part of the Wealden Heaths Phase II Special Protection Area. The site is home to some extremely rare bird, reptile and invertibrate species.

Bring your binoculars ready to spot some of our iconic heathland species such as the Dartford Warbler, woodlark and stone chat.

Location Details

Location Broxhead Common is an area of lowland heath just north of Bordon in Hampshire. Expect undulating sandy tracks around the site which is a mixture of woodland and heathland vegetation such as gorse and heather. Meet on the layby on Broxhead farm road.
