Benfield Community Nature Day

Benfield Community Nature Day

29 July 2023

10.00 am to 4.00 pm

A fun packed free event for all ages, the Benfield Community Nature Day at Hove Park Recreation Ground is celebrating ‘Connecting the community with nature on our doorstep.’ This is in recognition of the biodiversity that exists within and near to this vibrant urban Hove area and across the South Downs National Park. With an expected turnout of over 300 residents and supporters, this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than last year’s, with over 15 activities taking place during the day, including talks, litter picks, yoga, nature walks, children’s story times etc. Joining the event will be several conservation, nature and community organisations including the Benfield Valley Project, Benfield Wildlife and Conservation Group, HK Hedgehogs, Sussex Wildlife Trust, RSPB, Hangleton & Knoll Project, Buzz Club, Balance Kids Yoga, and Nicola Harvey Yoga among others.
