5 for £75 – that’s £15 per ticket! – Marwell Zoo

Marwell Zoo has a fantastic August offer set to help as many people as possible connect with nature this summer! For £75 guests can buy a ticket that admits up to 5 people for a full day of family adventures (excluding Thursday Fun Days) during August. This represents a saving of more than £40 for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. The August “5 for £75” family ticket is designed to give families and more affordable way to enjoy the zoo. If that’s not enough to get you excited about a visit to the zoo, everyone that buys a family ticket will be automatically entered into a free prize draw! 5 entrants will be selected at random to win membership for the family members they visited the zoo with, giving them a year’s worth of visits to enjoy together. With lots of new arrivals at the zoo over the last month, we’re confident families will find lots to see and do! Among the new arrivals are a Przewalski’s foal and blesbok calf that arrived within days of each other!
• FREE parking There’s plenty of free parking at the zoo, however, make sure you take all your valuables with you since we don’t accept any responsibility or liability for theft or damage. Cars must be parked sensibly and Marwell Wildlife does not accept any liability for damage or loss to vehicles.
• Car sharing On busy days our car park can fill up, so to avoid delays please car share if you can.
• Please don’t leave pets in cars Clearly we love animals so request that you leave all dogs and other pets at home and don’t leave them to suffer in your car. When we find pets in cars we contact the police. Scenterbarks is a local dog daycare centre in Otterbourne (10 mins away) from 8am – 6pm Monday to Friday.
• Help the environment Please consider leaving your car at home and travelling by bus. Bluestar bus – Z00 A new service from Bluestar will run hourly from Eastleigh bus and train stations on weekends, bank holidays and school holidays from April 1 to 3 September (except 6 May). Stagecoach 69 from Winchester to Marwell Zoo on Sundays Available on Sundays and bank holiday Mondays only, the 69 bus route run by Stagecoach departs from Winchester Bus Station stand E and travels via St Cross Bell Inn, Twyford crossroads and Colden Common Spring Lane to Marwell Zoo entrance and then to Bishops Waltham Square. • Monday to Saturday to Fishers Pond but not for the faint-hearted!* o The Stagecoach 69 service runs between Winchester and Fareham. A request stop is available at Fishers Pond. o The Xelabus X9 service runs between Curdridge Church near Botley and Eastleigh Bus Station. A request stop is available at Fishers Pond. • * WARNING We’re quite a trek from the bus stop – 20 minutes at a push. The road is unpaved with a 50 mile an hour limit and busy with traffic so we wouldn’t recommend this route. By rail The nearest mainline train stations are Southampton Airport Parkway (7 miles), Eastleigh (5 miles) and Winchester (8 miles). Local rail information can be found at www.threeriversrail.com Marwell Zoo is pretty big (140 acres of beautiful Hampshire parkland to explore) and we’d recommend that you allow at least 4-5 hours for your visit.
