The Next Generation
Custodianship of the landscape has been passed on down through generations of farmers, foresters, brewers, shepherds, writers and rangers.
We’re creating new opportunities for younger people to actively engage with the National Park, to learn about the landscape, explore the habitats and to care for nature and wildlife.
Through Youth Action Days and the Youth Ambassador programme, we’re seeing the next generation of custodians develop conservation and leadership skills.
