Friends of the South Downs

Founded in 1923 as the Society for Sussex Downsmen, Friends of the South Downs (also known as the South Downs Society) is a charity dedicated to the protection of the South Downs National Park.

Members regular engage with guided walks, talks from guest speakers and involve themselves in a number of conservation projects in the National Park.

Individuals and groups can join Friends of the South Downs as members to support their work.
