Walk with us to celebrate our 7th Birthday

Walk with us to celebrate our 7th Birthday

April 5, 2017

Seven years ago on 1st April 2010 Britain’s newest National Park was established – our very own South Downs National Park.

To mark this special occasion the Hampshire Ramblers have organised an event to celebrate the birthday on Saturday 15th April.

This will take place at the South Downs National Park Centre at Midhurst beginning at 11.00am. There will be a short introductory presentation by Margaret Paren, Chair of the National Park Authority.

This will be followed by a 7.5 mile walk in the national park, taking in some attractive villages & Stedham Mill.

Walkers are asked to bring a picnic lunch. After returning to the centre, & hearing a presentation by Kate Asbrook from the Ramblers, tea & cakes will be kindly provided by the centre.
