New Walks Leaflet: Ditchling Beacon and Devil’s Dyke

New Walks Leaflet: Ditchling Beacon and Devil’s Dyke

December 5, 2016

Just in time for the Christmas holidays, this New Walks Leaflet includes three walking routes to tempt you out into the South Downs. Come explore the highest point in East Sussex, Ditchling Beacon, with its stunning views over the weald and out to sea, or Devil’s Dyke, the longest, deepest and widest ‘dry valley’ in the whole of the UK.

The leaflet also includes a linear walk along a dramatic section of the South Downs Way taking in the iconic Jack and Jill windmills at Clayton and picturesque Pyecombe village.  All routes start at bus stops so you can leave the car at home and begin the adventure on the journey there.

All of our walk leaflets are also available for free on View Ranger, the outdoor discovery app – southdowns.gov.uk/viewranger – which you can download directly to your phone for a paper free day!
