Discover the Wealden Heath Special Protection Area

Join our heathland engagement team  and partners for a host of events and activities to celebrate our lowland heath habitat.

Our guided walks, and community events are themed around the rare wildlife, stunning landscape and fascinating history of the heath.

Spring/Summer 2025

Saturday 24 May: Bordon Pet Appreciation Day 10:00- 15:00

Have a go at our countryside dog challenge and be in with the chance of winning all sorts of goodies for your dog!

Thursday 4th June: Walk with the nightjars  20.45

European Nightjar: Credit Rich Ford

Friday 5th June: Mothy morning Ludshott Common  07.30-09.30

Drop in to see some of the fascinating moth species we find in our trap (please note this is very weather dependent). Booking here 

Sunday 22nd June: Discover your Heaths Day, Hogmoor Inclosure 11:00-16:00

Join us and our community partners for a day of free family fun celebrating our amazing heathlands. Have a go at crafts, bug hunting and discover the fascinating story of our heaths through the ages.
