Up The Garden Path
28 June 2024
10.00 to 15.30
Why take the bus to the National Trust’s Woolbeding Garden when you can instead walk there and have double the pleasure.
From the South Downs National Park Visitor Centre it is a mere 1 hour, leisurely stroll each way through meadows and following the meandering river Rother. What’s more, it provides an entirely different perspective on the beautiful gardens and landscape.
On reaching the gardens you are free to explore at leisure. Depending on the weather, we will be there for at least 3 hours, so there will be plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful setting, floral splendour as well as a cup of tea and scone.
6 mile walk in total (3 miles each way) Entry fee to National Trust property not included Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome
