South Downs Youth Action: Supporting a local woodland (ReNature Festival)
24 July 2023
10:00am to 15:00
Are you aged 16-25 and want to make a difference for nature, climate and the environment?
Join us to take action during our ReNature Festival (22nd-30th July) and help us to increase the amount of land managed for nature from 25% to 33% by 2030.
The South Downs National Park are responsible for an area of woodland in the Balavington Estate that is in need of some care and attention. The copse is full of unique habitats, wildlife and historical interest and we need to take action now to make a real difference to climate action and nature recovery.
We would love to welcome you for a day of discovery, working alongside our South Downs National Park Ranger. You will participate in a fence installation activity as well as clearing the site to ensure wildlife can thrive.
