Fabulous Fungi guided ID walk

21 October 2023

11:00 to 12:30

Guided by fungi expert and photographer Daniel Greenwood and the heathland rangers, you will be searching for fungus growing on trees, deadwood and amongst the forest floor. Novices and experts are all welcome to come and learn more about the role that fungi play in the ecosystem and how important they are on a global scale. Please note this is a fungi identification walk and not a foraging event. This walk is more suited for adults or older children and the terrain is undulating in places. Come dressed for the weather, wear sturdy footwear and waterproofs as required. Cost: £3 per person Pre booking required: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/fabulous-fungi-guided-id-walk-tickets-684848539417?aff=oddtdtcreator
