Wines & Gentle Inclines

Summer is made for vineyard walks, and on this occasion, our local favourite is the award-winning Raimes, nestled near Alresford.
This beautiful 5.5 mile route captures the very essence of quintessential English countryside, where history and nature quietly intertwine.
With a mix of parkland, grand houses, and rolling fields, it’s easy to picture a time when countryside pursuits unfolded alongside genteel aristocrats taking leisurely strolls, while farm labourers worked in harmony with the land and its seasons.
The landscape is alive with the sights and sounds of nature.
This is true Skylark and Yellowhammer territory, their bright, cascading songs drifting on the summer breeze, providing the perfect soundtrack to a day in the countryside.
And of course, the promise of a chilled glass of Raimes’ award-winning English sparkling wine waiting at the finish makes every step of the journey that little bit sweeter.
Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome.
