Have you got what it takes to be an Antarctic Explorer? 8000 people applied to be part of Captain Scott’s Terra Nova expedition- only 33 were chosen to be the ‘shore party’ and land on Antarctica. Come to the Field Studies Centre this half term to be put through your paces with a series of challenges to see if you would make the grade and find out more about what life was like for explorers in Antarctica 100 years ago.
