Pledge to take action to help nature and the climate
When it comes to taking action for climate change and nature recovery, there’s plenty we can all do.
Here at the South Downs National Park Authority, we’re working with land owners and managers to identify new sites for ReNaturing – increasing the amount of land managed for nature from 25% to 33% by 2030.
With some 113,300 who live and work in the National Park, with an additional 2 million people living within 10km of the National Park, the power of individual action is not to be underestimated.
We’re inviting everyone to sign-up to as many pledges as they want to, to take action for nature and the climate.
We’ll keep a running total of how many actions people have signed-up for, showing how collective action can make a huge difference.
If you’re visiting one of our visitor centres in Midhurst or at Seven Sisters Country Park you can also pick up a ‘Pledge & Plant’ postcard.
Tick off your pledges as you complete them and when you’re done plant the postcard and enjoy the beautiful wildflowers which will grow!
Your postcard wildflower seeds
Please plant your wildflower seed pledge postcards in a garden or pots and not in the countryside. Our wildflower postcards are made with the following seed:

The best time to plant your cards is in the Autumn or early Spring.
