Stages of Local Plan Development

Below are links to the stages leading up to the adoption of the South Downs Local Plan by Members of the South Downs National Park Authority.

The stages included a Pre-Submission and Submission stage, prior to the Local Plan being submitted to the Government for examination.

In the Examination stage, the Government Inspector compiled a report on the Local Plan, including a list of Main Modifications to be made prior to Members adopting the Plan.
