Achieving Net Zero for the South Downs National Park Authority
We are working towards achieving Net Zero for both the Authority as a working organisation, and the National Park itself.
We are committed to the South Downs National Park Authority becoming a ‘Net-Zero’ Organisation by 2030.
We will achieve Net Zero for the Authority by:
- reducing our carbon emissions
- developing localised offsetting options with key partners where our emissions cannot be reduced; and
- ensure sustainability in our operations, estate management and procurement activities by applying our Sustainability Policy.
