This 4 mile butterfly spotting walk will be led by Fiona Scully, South Downs Landscape Officer for the charity Butterfly Conservation.
In her role, Fiona is responsible for the care and management of Magdalen Hill Down and Yew Hill nature reserves near Winchester—two key havens for butterflies and chalk grassland wildlife.
She is also a volunteer ranger for the Graffham Down Trust which protects 6 discreet parcels of local downland.
Beyond her professional life, Fiona is a dedicated walker with a deep love for the landscapes of the South Downs, particularly the quieter corners of West Sussex.
This walk brings together her intimate knowledge of the Graffham Trust Reserves with her specialist insight into butterflies and their habitats.
