This walk around Ebernoe Common is certainly off the beaten path. Nestled on the fringe of the Western Weald, Ebernoe Common is a living relic, untouched by modern haste, cloaked in story and shadow.
Its towering oaks — gnarled, hollow, and centuries old — stand like sentinels from another age.
In the filtered light of the woodland canopy, we’ll walk in the footsteps of deer, charcoal-burners, and perhaps even medieval pilgrims.
A walk through Ebernoe Common is more than a stroll — it’s a quiet return to something older, wilder, and strangely comforting.
Well-behaved dogs on leads welcome.
