Get involved

There are many ways you can get involved and help to look after your countryside, from volunteering, getting involved with shaping the National Park through our Forum, attending local events and much more.

For information on different ways that you can get involved, please follow the links below.

Have your say

Join in discussion about the National Park, whether you represent an organisation or just want your voice heard, visit the South Downs National Park Forum online and take part. We also hold workshops and regular public consultation exercises, and feedback the results of this engagement.

If you would like to volunteer within the National Park, there are many Conservation Groups that you might be interested in, including the South Downs Volunteer Ranger Service. If there is something other than practical conservation work you would like to do, then please use the contact us page to let us know. You can always offer support to help in our offices with projects that may be of interest to you.
