Wisborough Green Neighbourhood Plan

Wisborough Green Parish Council has prepared a Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for Wisborough Green. Further details of the NDP preparation are available on the Wisborough Green Parish Council website.

NDP Review Regulation 14 – Pre-submission consultation	Wisborough Green Parish Council (WGPC) undertook a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Wisborough Green Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) Review. NDP Review	The Wisborough Green NDP was “made” on 09 June 2016 and covers the period from 2014 to 2029. In 2021, Wisborough Green Parish Council (WGPC), as Qualifying Body (QB) for the preparation of the Wisborough Green NDP, commenced a review and update of the “made” Wisborough Green NDP. The NDP Review will extend the plan period up to 2037.
Plan “Made” (Adoption)	The Wisborough Green NDP – i.e., the Submission Plan incorporating the Examiner’s modifications as per the Decision Statement – complies with the legal requirements and basic conditions set out in the Localism Act 2011 and, as a result of the SDNPA resolution on 09 June 2016, has been made. The made Wisborough Green NDP. The made Wisborough Green NDP is a part of the Development Plan for the South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) area of the parish as defined by the Neighbourhood Area designated by the SDNPA on 13 September 2012. The made Wisborough Green NDP can be viewed at the following locations: South Downs Centre, North Street, Midhurst, West Sussex, GU29 9DH. Referendum	A referendum was held on the Wisborough Green NDP on 05 May 2016. Further information on the referendum is available on the Chichester District Council website. There was a 36.6% turnout, with the following results: Yes = 83.2% (351 votes) No = 16.8% (71 votes)
Decision on the Plan proposal	Chichester District Council (CDC) – in agreement with the SDNPA – published the Decision Statement for the Wisborough Green NDP. This sets out the changes that were made to the plan in response to the Examiner’s modifications. Wisborough Green NDP Decision Statement. Independent examination	Chichester District Council (CDC) appointed Mr Paul McCreery as Independent Examiner of the Wisborough Green NDP. The Examiner published their final report in November 2015. Examiner’s Final Report.
Regulation 16 – Submission consultation	Chichester District Council (CDC) published the submitted Wisborough Green Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) for consultation between 30 April and 11 June 2015. Regulation 14 – Pre-submission consultation	Wisborough Green Parish Council (WGPC) undertook a pre-submission consultation on the Draft Wisborough Green Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) between 05 January and 16 February 2015. Designated Neighbourhood Area	The SDNPA designated part of the Wisborough Green Neighbourhood Area on 13 September 2012 following an application from Wisborough Green Parish Council. Designated Neighbourhood Area.
Proposed Neighbourhood Area	A consultation on an application to designate the Wisborough Green Neighbourhood Area was held from 19 July to 30 August 2012.
