Wickham “Walk and Talk”
06 February 2026
1000 to 1230
Come and join Meon Trails for first “Walk and Talk” for 2026.
The Walk and Talk series are shorter walks with all the proceeds going to the excellent Solent Mind charity.
This walk will start at 10am at the old Wickham Railway Station car park, 5 minutes walk from the centre of the village.
The walk will be an easy pace, approximately 4.6 miles in length and will cost £5 per person.
The route will be mainly on paths and trails with a small amount (quarter of a mile) being on a quiet country lane.
Depending upon the weather in the days running up to the walk, the route may be muddy so walking boots are strongly recommended.
Final instructions on what to expect on the walk will be sent out the day before the walk.
The walk will start and finish at the Car Park at the old Wickham Railway Station. The car park is just off Station Close. What 3 words location: ///wings.roadblock.occurs In the event that the old Railway Station Car Park is full, there is plenty of additional paid parking in Wickham Village Square.
When we finish back in Wickham it’s only a couple of hundred yards into the village square with cafes and pubs for you to stop for some refreshment.
Well behaved dogs always welcome on Meon Trails walks, especially when accompanied by well behaved owners!
We look forward to seeing you on this first “Walk and Talk” for 2026
