Spruce Up Your Christmas
12 December 2025
10.00 to 13.00
What better way to pause before the busyness of Christmas and to round off a year of tree-themed walks than by visiting Wylds Christmas Tree Farm, who are at the very heart of festive tradition!
After stretching our legs on this scenic 6.5 mile circular route, we’ll return to the farm to soak up some Christmas magic.
You could also choose your perfect tree, browse festive decorations, or simply relax with a warm drink by the log fire.
The Christmas tree tradition dates back centuries, evergreen branches were once brought indoors in the dark days of winter as a symbol of life and hope.
The custom as we know it today took root in Germany in the 16th century, before spreading across Europe and beyond.
Certainly for me, putting up and decorating the tree is the true signal that Christmas has begun.
If you can’t make Friday 12th, then do take a look at Wylds Farm’s website for details of their opening hours through December.
