Gilbert White – Home Educators Day: Nature Explorers Gilbert White provides the model for this day investigating the flora and fauna found in different habitats around our site, with a focus on classification.

Weather permitting, we will make use of sweep nets and beating trays to collect invertebrates and there will be a guided walk looking at the habitat management in our grounds. Suitable for 5–14-year-olds.

Most activities will take place outside whatever the weather so please come dressed appropriately.

Please bring a packed lunch and snacks and drinks as required as our café is closed on a Monday!

Price: £11 child, £5.50 adult and under 5s free, but please reserve a ticket so we know you are coming.
