Join us in 2026 as the South Downs Dark Skies Reserve marks its 10th anniversary with a series of gentle night-time adventure walks.
Led by a qualified local guide, you’ll explore some of the darkest and most beautiful spots in the South Downs National Park.
Whether the skies are clear or cloudy, it’s a magical experience — perfect for stargazing, listening for nocturnal wildlife, and soaking up the peace and panoramic views.
Along the way, learn about the area’s natural history and geology, try your hand at night navigation, and enjoy the wonder of the stars, weather permitting, in one of the UK’s best places for astronomy.
