Start: Worthing (Chichester or Bognor Regis)
Finish: Worthing (Chichester or Bognor Regis)

With your Discovery ticket, you’re free to explore everything the South Downs National Park area and beyond has to offer by bus.

Arundel Castle is a wonderful example of a crenellated Norman keep, gatehouse and barbican, plus gardens, guided tours and even reenactments and jousting events. Adjacent to the castle is the Arundel museum.

Arundel Wetland Centre is a gentle mile’s walk along Mill Road, passing Swanbourne Lake, where you can enjoy the tea rooms and hire rowing boats.

At the Wetland Centre you can tour the duckery; spot water voles on the boat safari; visit Pond Skaters play area; the Tree Creeper activity area for children 8+ or simply relax and enjoy the tranquil surroundings and stunning views of Arundel Castle.

There are plenty of options for lunch around Arundel; at the Wetland Centre Water’s Edge café or the nearby riverside Black Rabbit pub or walk back to Arundel town for a riverside picnic or lunch in the Castle Restaurant.

Whatever you’re looking for Arundel has something for all of the family.
