Site Selection & Major Development
As part of the evidence base to support the new Local Plan a site selection paper has been prepared which explains the rationale for why the proposed site allocations in the Regulation 19 Proposed Submission Local Plan were selected. It also includes an assessment of the strategic sites in terms of whether they would comprise ‘major development’ under paragraph 190 of the National Planning Policy Framework, and if so whether they would meet the tests in that paragraph.
