New funding available for woodfuel business support (Now closed)

Significant new funding available for woodfuel business support and development from Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership
Coast to Capital have launched a Call for Proposals for £1.29m grant funding to support the transition to a Low Carbon Economy using the European Regional Development Fund.
Priorities are to:
- Support businesses who are part of the woodfuel initiative
- Support businesses who are in the wood processing sector
- Improve local supply chains in the sector
- Stimulate demand for woodfuel and timber products in the local economy
- Support the development of a network of woodfuel and timber processing hubs across the Coast to Capital region
- Supporting the use of local timber in energy efficiency measures, including retro fit
Coast to Capital are looking for large (>£500,000) projects running for up to 3 years.
The deadline for outline applications is 25 September 2015.
