The Night Shift
30 June 2026
21.15 to Late
Step into the hush of a warm summer night and experience the countryside after dark, as the full moon guides us on a slow, approx 4 mile walk through woodland and out onto a large hilltop meadow.
This is a chance to slow down and let your sense take over – listening to the sounds of the night, noticing scents in the air and becoming more aware of your surroundings.
There will be an opportunity to walk a stretch at your own pace, giving you space to experience the night individually while still within the support of the group.
It’s a chance to step slightly outside your comfort zone and engage with the night in a different way.
We’ll also spend time sitting beneath the stars, picking out summer constellations and taking in the wider night sky.
A simple but memorable way to reconnect with the natural world.
A summer night walk has its own character – lighter, softer, and far less demanding than winter (particularly on the clothing front!), with a different quality of light and sky to enjoy.
This will be a small group walk No dogs please
