Little Lumpy Cycle Sportive

The renowned cycle sportive, starting and finishing in Haslemere takes in the spectacular South Downs National Park.

The not-for-profit event has supported local charities for 15 years, with this year adding gravel and off-road routes to the established road routes of: Epic: 122 miles (2473m elevation), Challenge : 69 miles (1433m) and Sport: 39 miles (900m).

Location Starting and finishing at Woolmer Hill Sports Association in Haslemere, GU27 1QA. Plenty of free car parking and free bacon butty or vegetarian alternative at the start. There are Feed Stops at South Harting, Chalton, Walberton and Langhams Brewery in Lodsworth, all with home-made food. Fully signed routes (road), individual rider timings and medical and mechanical support.

Directions

From Haslemere town take the A287 towards Hindhead turning off at Critchmere Hill to join Woolmer Hill. The Sports Club is behind Woolmer Hill School. From the A3 exit at Hindhead and take the old Portsmouth Road to Upper Hammer Lane and turn left into the school. Haslemere Train Station is about 2 miles away.
