Take the Lead Photo Competition

Take the Lead Photo Competition

To celebrate #NationalDogWalkingMonth we want to see photos of your favourite place in the South Downs to pause with your pooch and take in the view.

Be it atop a hill, next to a river or down a windy footpath – where in the South Downs is your favourite place to have a moment with your four-legged friend?

To enter simply snap a pic of your dog on the lead at your loved South Downs location – you can be in it too 😀 – and post it on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter. Make sure you tag our account as well as #southdowns and #TaketheLead to be entered into the competition and let us know where the image was taken.

The winning image will scoop a Dicky Bag – the perfect dog walking companion to help make cleaning up after your dog that much easier – and less stinky!

Full competition terms and conditions here – the closing date for entries is midnight on Sunday 30th January.

Remember these four easy steps to keep you and your dog safe while out exploring the National Park:

  1. Keep dogs on a lead near livestock.
  2. Bag and bin your poo, any public bin will do.
  3. Protect ground nesting birds. Stick to the paths, especially between 1 March – 15 September.
  4. Do not enter military training areas when the red flags are flying

Happy snapping and good luck!
