Cookies

Some people find the idea of a website storing information on their computer or mobile device a bit intrusive, particularly when this information is stored and used by a third party without them knowing. Although this is generally quite harmless you may not, for example, want to see advertising that has been targeted to your interests. If you prefer, it is possible to block some or all cookies, or even to delete cookies that have already been set; but you need to be aware that you might lose some functions of that website.

Infrastructure Delivery Plan

Infrastructure is the services and systems that our communities need to function, including the natural environment, roads, schools, community services, sports and leisure facilities and green spaces.

The Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP) lists all infrastructure needed to support sustainable growth in the National Park, as set out in our emerging Local Plan.

Projects identified on the IDP will be considered for funding through the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) following adoption in 2016. Projects may include the provision of new infrastructure, or the improvement, replacement, operation and maintenance of existing infrastructure.

The Infrastructure Delivery Plan demonstrates the need to adopt a CIL, to ensure developers make a financial contribution to much needed community infrastructure.

The IDP is a ‘live document’ that will be updated over time as infrastructure needs change and more information becomes available.

Infrastructure Consultation

The IDP is published for consultation until 28 October 2015 alongside the Draft CIL Charging Schedule.

We are still accepting infrastructure projects for inclusion on the IDP, please use the contact details below.
