Application Process

Application Process

The first step in the application process is to contact the National Park Ranger for your area and the External Funding Co-ordinator (see below details) to discuss your project.

If it is felt that your project could be supported you will be invited to make a Small Grant Application for up to £2,000 or an Expression of Interest for up to £10,000.

The Expression of Interest allows us to consider your project concept without requiring detailed planning and costing. If it is felt that your project is eligible then you will be invited to make a Large Grant Application.

The application will be considered at a scheduled Grant Panel Meeting where you will be invited to attend a short question and answer session.

Application submission deadlines are a calendar month before each meeting and meeting dates can be found on the Grant Panel Meeting page.

Please ensure you have read through the Criteria and detailed Information Sheet before contacting your area Ranger or the External Funding Co-ordinator.

Application forms are not available for download as we encourage an initial conversation about your project – please contact the Grants Officer, 01730 819223, grants@southdowns.gov.uk
