It is a very exciting time to be working as a planner within the South Downs National Park Authority. We are currently supporting 48 neighbourhood development plans that are in various stages of preparation across the National Park, which contains over 1,600km2 of England’s most iconic lowland landscapes stretching from Winchester in the west to Eastbourne in the east.

This is an ideal career opportunity to work as a neighbourhood planning officer in a small and friendly team. You will be responsible for advising and supporting neighbourhood planning groups in the eastern part of the National Park with a particular focus on Lewes where their plan is approaching pre-submission stage.
